Who we are

CreditPlanner.in is an independent credit card comparison and billing cycle planning platform operated in India. We run two products under this domain:

• creditplanner.in — A credit card comparison platform. We list cards from Indian banks, help users find a suitable card through a quiz, and earn affiliate commissions when users apply through our links.
• app.creditplanner.in (CycleIQ) — A daily billing cycle planning tool. Users enter their billing dates and due dates. The tool tells them what to do with their existing cards today. No bank login required. No card numbers collected.

What we do not collect

We want to be explicit about what we never collect on either platform:

• Credit or debit card numbers, CVVs, or expiry dates
• Bank account numbers or IFSC codes
• Net banking usernames or passwords
• UPI IDs or mobile wallet credentials
• PAN card numbers, Aadhaar numbers, or passport numbers
• CIBIL scores or credit bureau data
• Income documents or salary slips
• Biometric data of any kind
• Real-time location or GPS data
• Device identifiers, IMEI numbers, or MAC addresses
• Contacts, photos, or files from your device

How we use your data

We use data only for the specific purposes for which it was collected:

• Responding to contact form messages
• Analysing aggregate traffic to improve the site (via Google Analytics)
• Tracking affiliate commissions (via affiliate partner networks)

app.creditplanner.in (CycleIQ)

• Creating and authenticating your account
• Generating your daily billing cycle action recommendations based on the dates you enter
• Calculating and displaying your check-in streak and 28-day history
• Maintaining your session across visits (30-day login persistence)

Data storage and security

Data collected via CycleIQ (app.creditplanner.in) is stored in Cloudflare KV — Cloudflare's distributed key-value storage infrastructure, which operates on data centres globally including within regulated jurisdictions.

• Encryption in transit: All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. We enforce HSTS with a 2-year max-age.
• Password hashing: Passwords are hashed using SHA-256 with a unique random salt before storage. Your actual password is never stored anywhere on our systems.
• Session tokens: Session tokens are 256-bit cryptographically random strings. They expire automatically after 30 days.
• Access control: Only the Cloudflare Worker (our backend API) can read or write to your data. No human administrator has routine access to individual user records.

While we implement strong technical safeguards, no internet service can guarantee 100% security. If you suspect your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at [email protected].

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party. Ever.

Limited sharing occurs only in these specific cases:

• Google Analytics: Anonymous, aggregated usage data (pages visited, session duration, browser type). You can opt out via Google's opt-out browser extension.
• Affiliate networks: When you click an "Apply Now" link, the affiliate network records which link was clicked and which card was applied for. This is used solely to attribute commissions. No personal data from our site is shared — the network sees only the click event.
• Banks: When you click through and apply for a card on a bank's website, the bank collects your application data directly. That data relationship is between you and the bank under their privacy policy.

app.creditplanner.in (CycleIQ)

CycleIQ does not share any data with any third party. No analytics, no advertising networks, no affiliate links. Your billing dates and account data stay entirely within our Cloudflare infrastructure.

Legal disclosure

We may disclose data if required by a valid court order, law enforcement request, or legal obligation under Indian law. We will notify you of any such request unless legally prohibited from doing so.

Cookies and tracking

creditplanner.in

• Google Analytics cookies: Used to measure traffic. These are analytics cookies, not advertising cookies. We do not use Google's advertising or remarketing features.
• OneSignal (push notifications): If you opt in to browser push notifications, OneSignal stores a subscription identifier. You can revoke this at any time via your browser notification settings.
• Session cookies: Used to maintain your quiz state during a session. Not persistent.

You can disable all cookies via your browser settings. Doing so will not affect your ability to view cards or read content on this site.

app.creditplanner.in (CycleIQ)

CycleIQ does not use browser cookies. Your session token is stored in the browser's localStorage — it stays only on your device and is sent to our server only in the Authorization header when you make requests. No tracking cookies. No advertising pixels. No third-party scripts.

Affiliate link disclosure

creditplanner.in participates in affiliate programmes with Indian banking partners. When you click an "Apply Now" link and successfully receive a credit card, the bank pays us a referral commission.

• This commission is paid by the bank out of their marketing budget.
• It does not add any cost to you or change the card's terms, fees, or benefits.
• It does not influence which cards we list or how we rank them.
• All affiliate links are clearly labelled "Affiliate link" on the site.

Your rights under India's DPDPA 2023

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDPA), you have the following rights as a data principal:

We will acknowledge all requests within 3 business days and resolve them within 7 business days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India once it is constituted under the DPDPA.

Account deletion

To delete your CycleIQ account and all associated data:

1. Email [email protected] with the subject line: "Delete My Account"
2. Include the email address registered to your account in the message body
3. We will permanently delete your account, billing dates, check-in history, and all associated data within 7 business days
4. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete

Deletion is permanent and irreversible. Streak history, card data, and account details cannot be recovered after deletion.

Children's privacy

Our services are intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes — particularly changes that affect how we collect, use, or share your data — we will notify registered CycleIQ users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. Continued use of our services after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
